Garret's original songs have been featured in radio commercials for: American Pie events, the Place on Piedmont, Bullfrog Suntan Lotions, 99X Atlanta Radio spots, and others. His acoustic guitar tune 'Space Ragtime' (Gulf Coast State of Mind-LP) was featured daily for one year on WRAS-FM GSU Radio/Atlanta, as lead-in/lead-out music for their daily News reports. And speaking of the news, Garret performed his tune 'Space Ragtime' Live on Atlanta's Fox5 Morning News, along with the Great American Mime Experiment dancing along to his song. Factoryman produced and digitally re-mastered the rocking 2003 CD re-issue of: The Businessmen - 'Live From Space City' - (1982 LP) along with added Bonus Singles. In 2006 he produced a 2-song medley Digital Download /& CD for The Businessmen band. Garret also produced the CD album 'Reggae Rocker Stylee' for Crucial Dread Reggae Band; and he re-mastered this Anniversary edition of the band's same CD album, after their first pressing was sold out. With his band from Atlanta, Garret has traveled to Texas to play shows for some very excited crowds. His Houston show at The Hideaway on Dunvale was the first Texas appearance of his band Whooping Cranes; it was a historical and hysterical event featuring singer/bassist C Dub, and singer/drummer Bellian Marshall. Garret also performed the opening set for The Inanimate Objects band's CD Release Event in Houston with alt-rock band The Businessmen, featuring the band's very distinguished rock vocalist Don McPants. As an added note here, Garret was the engineer and producer of this Inanimate Objects CD album. For many years, Garret hosted a Christmas Holiday reunion event at The Ale House in Houston with Texas musician friends joining in performing. Since the Ale House closed their business, the annual Texas reunion 2010 'Mistletoe Madness' event was performed & hosted by Garret at Dan Electro's Guitar Bar, along with bands: My Crisis, The Inanimate Objects, and The Businessmen. And, Garret opened the show with a blazing solo set of music. The evening included guest appearances by Tom Ng and Rod Rodriguez. For the 2011 'Mistletoe Madness' show, with a packed-house crowd at Dan Electro's in Houston, Garret presented The Octanes, Rockaway Radio, and The Businessmen with Mark 'Milo' Adams (from 'The Drive Off the Map' album) on drums, and Tom Ng (from early days at Rock Island with Businessmen) on bass & backing vocals. In Oct. 2011, Garret brought his solo acoustic show to JP Hops House in West Houston, one of the finest acoustic music venues in all of Texas. In 2012/2013, Garret performed solo acoustic music for many visual art events at 2 Rules Fine Art in Marietta, GA, playing his original songs and solo guitar works. Upon completing studio recordings of original music in 2011, Garret and Whooping Cranes released their 'Rock With the Flock' CD in 2012 with Album Release Shows at Dan Electro's Guitar Bar in Houston, TX June 2012, and at Red Light Cafe in Atlanta, GA November 2012.
